Hi there. 

Thanks for stopping by my site.  I am posting chapters here from my oft-neglected memoir, occasionally keeping a few blogs (PublishingPaige and BikingPaige) about life, work, attempts to balance the two, and my newest 'new thing' - biking!

The Prologue to my memoir is posted here--I hope you enjoy it! 

I'm also posting history I'm uncovering about my family, the Applachian region, and Kentucky coal mining during the 1900's - 1940's.

The year before I turned 40, I very sporadically kept this blog about life changes, turning 40, and achieving better balance. I think I  made some good progress during the year, but you can decide for yourself.

BikingPaige

If you aren't doing a good job maintaining one blog, best thing to do is start another.  And then not maintain that one either.  I was very into this blog until I ruptured a disk in my back, so I haven't been riding my bike to work for the last few months.  I'm hoping to get back to it in 2010, though, so stay tuned.

And if not, I can always start a third blog that I don't maintain!
